C4DI launches a new tech incubator with Rawa.Ink based in Katowice, Poland.
C4DI, the UK’s leading incubator that works with both large corporates and growing tech businesses, is launching its first international tech incubator based in Rawa.Ink, Katowice, Poland. After 5 years of exploring the Polish tech market and two very productive trade missions to the Silesian region, the decision was made to forge a strategic partnership with the Rawa.Ink tech incubator in central Katowice.
To facilitate this C4DI formed a Polish legal entity C4DI Ventures International Sp. Z o o. with the support of leading Katowice Legal practice KTW.legal. This led to the agreement of a Letter of Intent with the Katowice Marshal's Office to develop a Polish-Anglo Tech pathway.
During C4DI’s most recent visit to Poland, they had the opportunity to advance their relationship with the Gliwice based R&D hub co.brick, which has already produced exciting synergies. The British Embassy in Warsaw has been exceptionally supportive and C4DI look forward to their participation at their formal launch evening, hosted by Rawa.Ink.
As part of the new incubator, C4DI, who are currently working in partnership with Nestlé and GXO at their East Midlands Gateway facility, are welcoming applications from Polish technology companies who want to help with some of the logistics and supply chain challenges, to become part of the Logistics Incubator initiative which was originally launched in the UK early this year.
Using first hand experience, C4DI will support these startups in building scalable global technology businesses. They offer connections to people and organisations who they can partner and grow with.
Speaking about the new C4DI Poland incubator, Bob Spence, C4DI International Director “C4DI UK was a perfect break out point into the UK economy. This Logistics Incubator initiative was a unique curated programme for Polish Tech entrepreneurs to engage with a groundbreaking opportunity.”
“We could not be more excited to rollout the Logistics Incubator programme to Poland. It brings an amazing opportunity for growing technology businesses in the region to accelerate by connecting to, and learning from both the leading food and beverage business in the world and one of the world’s largest logistics companies,” said Linsey Brown, C4DI Projects & Communications Manager on the new Logistics Incubator programme.
The programme runs until the end of this year and is supported by C4DI’s team and community across its sites in the UK and across Central Europe. Applicants with relevant technology products and services that believe they can help Nestlé and the GXO’s DDOF, or who would like to learn from this innovation-driven partnership, are encouraged to apply.
